Yesterday I wrote about how any given system will only work if it’s personal and that in order for a system to be that you have to take the time to investigate and try different things.
Of course you have to be careful that you don’t fall into the trap of never starting because you’re still researching the solution. There’s nothing wrong with digging into a topic and learning about it so that you can make the best possible decision, but there is a point where you just need to get started.
I’ve seen many fall into the analysis paralysis, myself include, over the years. The challenge is realizing that you’ve fallen into the trap so that you can correct and get things moving. Unfortunately many times we don’t realize it until our anxiety is up, stress is up, and we don’t feel like we’ll ever find a way to solve our issue.
The best thing you can do at that point is just start – pick something that will just get the ball rolling and then you can adapt and correct as you move forward.
So, what are you still trying to figure out? Maybe it’s time to just get moving.
